PROVINCIAL Assistant Veterinarian Jovito Tabarejos reminded the townsfolks of Malasiqui to be responsible pet owners after they had their pets vaccinated with anti-rabies during the Veterinary Medical Mission on July 7.

The Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPVET) brought free veterinary services that included anti rabies vaccination, deworming, vitamins, castration of dogs and cats, and spraying of cats, to help sustain the wellness of their pets despite the pandemic.

Tabarejos said the provincial government targets to add veterinary services for farm animals on their next staging to expand the capacity of the program on providing free animal health services to the farmers.

Barangay Mabulitec Chairman Pablo Espiritu expressed his gratitude to the provincial government of Pangasinan and to Governor Amado I. Espino III for choosing their community in the conduct of this activity.

“Malaking tulong po [ang programa] sa aming mga pet owners dahil libre ang pag-spay, anti-rabies, deworming at mga vitamins. Nakakatulong ang programa sa amin para maging responsableng pet owners dahil mahal sa mga private clinics kaya tini-take advantage po namin itong libreng serbisyo ng provincial government,” said Raphaela Estoesta, one of the pet owners who participated in the said program.
