DUE TO LOWER CONTAGION RATE?

THE province’s isolation facilities have only seen an average 8.4-percent occupancy rate, according to the Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force.

This was revealed last Monday by Pangasinan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office chief Rhodyn Oro during the question hour of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

He said as of May 3, only 171, out of the 2,035 established quarantine facilities were occupied and can be attributed to the slow transmission of the COVID-19 in the province.

He pointed out that all towns and cities in Pangasinan have established their own COVID-19 isolation facilities while the provincial government has set up three official quarantine facilities in the towns of Burgos, Sta. Barbara and Tayug. (Jerick Pasiliao)
