HVT in drug trade arrested in Manaoag
A HIGH-value drug target in the Fourth District was arrested in Barangay San Ramon, Manaoag in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by lawmen on the night of April 18.
The suspect, Jonar Morales, 38, a tricycle driver, and a resident of Barangay San Ramon, fell in a buy-bust operation conducted by intelligence operatives led by P/Major Napoleon Eleccion Jr., chief of police of Manaoag.
In his report to P/Colonel Feff Fanged, police provincial director, Eleccion said Morales was arrested after he sold one sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent in Barangay San Ramon.
Seized from the suspect during a body search were the P500 marked money and five more plastic sachets containing shabu, three pieces of P100 bill and a cellular phone.
A case for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II under Republic Act 9165 was filed against the suspect following inquest proceedings. (Butch Uka)
