Woman stabbed by live-in partner

A 38-year-old woman was stabbed by her live-in partner in Barangay Dilan-Paurido, Urdaneta City on Tuesday night, March 21.

Victim Kristine Joy Rosario had a heated argument with partner Jeffrey Cabural, 33, that turned awry.

Cabural, in a fit of rage, took a pair of scissors, and stabbed Rosario behind twice.

Concerned neighbors rushed Rosario to the hospital, while Cabural fled, but was arrested in a follow-up operation.

Backrider dead in Agno road mishap

A 32-year-old man died in a road mishap in Barangay Poblacion East, Agno.

Victim Kurt Drenrab Rosete, was riding with Chris Vincent Lopez, both residents of said area, on board a motorcycle fell, on the road when they failed to negotiate  a sharp curve.

Rosete was rushed to the hospital, but was declared dead on arrival, while Lopez is still under observation.

Police said both were not wearing helmets when the incident occurred.

Couple robbed in Dagupan City, suspects nabbed

TWO brothers suspected to be involved in the reported robbery of the house of a couple a day earlier in Dagupan City were arrested by authorities, a day after the robbery incident

Suspects in the robbery of couple Raymart dela Cruz, 29, nurse, and Jim Hallare, 28, doctor, were brothers Renafy Paneda, 42, and Aldrin Paneda, 22, both residents of Rioferio Road in Barangay Pantal,

On Monday, March 20, Dela Cruz arrived in their house, but noticed the back door open and their place  was ransacked.

On seeing that their  bluetooth speaker, surgical scissors, three pairs of footwear, and a signature bag worth P15,000 were missing, prompting them to report the incident to the police.

The suspects were later arrested, along with the stolen items, save for the cash stashed in the bag.
