PNP asks establishments operating 24/7 to install CCTVs

THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office called on all owners of establishments operating 24/7 to install their respective Closed-Circuit Television Cameras (CCTVs).

Pangasinan Police Provincial Director P/Colonel Jeff Fanged made the call after a convenience store in  Sta. Barbara with no security guard on duty was robbed by thieves.

Following the incident, Fanged issued memorandum to all Chiefs of Police to list down all establishments in their respective areas that are operating 24/7.

Fanged said he will soon call all managers of business establishments operating round-the-clock to a meeting to discuss with them measures to curtail robbery.

Meanwhile, Fanged anticipates the rise of incidents of theft and robbery this current holiday season although he assured everyone that policemen are on 24/7 duty to protect the people and their properties. (Jhon Caranto/IFM Dagupan)
