THE two missing teenage girls were found dead in a ravine in Tuba, Benguet on Monday, October 31, and were later identified as the daughter and niece of an active police officer in Pangasinan.

P/ Senior Master Sergeant Albert Peralta Quiros, presently assigned at the Pozorrubio Municipal Police Station, identified the two as his daughter Andrea Rabara Quiros, 19, and niece Anika Columbino Pricipe, 16, both residents of Barangay San Vicente in Urdaneta City.

Both girls, reported missing since October 28, were found with their mouths covered with packaging tape, and their hands bound behind them.

Quiros identified the two girls at the Tuba Municipal Police Station on Tuesday, November 1 after the local police received a report on October 31 from a concerned citizen, who saw the lifeless bodies of the two teenagers down in a ravine

Initial reports did not indicate whether the girls were visibly raped and if the victims died in the area, or were dumped in the ravine. (Ahikam Pasion)
