TWO persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the police at riverside in Barangay Sta. Maria Norte, Binalonan, 9:15 p.m. on September 14.

The arrested suspects were identified as Daniel Madula, a drug watch-listed personality of Poblacion, Binalonan; and Dominique Vinluan, 29, a junk collector, of Barangay Vacante, Binalonan.

Seized by elements of Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Binalonan police from the two were four transparent plastic sachets containing shabu with a weight of 0.70 gram and a P4,760 street value.

One plastic sachet also containing shabu that weighed at 0.15 gram with P1,020 street value was found in the possession of Vinluan, and a P100 bill in Madula’s possession; four P1,000 bills of boodle money, a one cellular phone and a Honda motorcycle.

Both suspects are now facing charges for Violation of Republic Act of 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Leonardo Micua)
