Man with 40 sachets of shabu nabbed in Lingayen

A man was arrested by authorities in Barangay Libsong East, Lingayen town on Friday night, August 27, following a manhunt operation.

Suspect Aldrin Cacapit, 45, resident of Barangay Minien West in Santa Barbara town, was initially a subject of a warrant of arrest due to reckless Imprudence resulting in multiple physical Injuries, but authorities discovered more.

As soon as a warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 43, authorities tracked Cacapit in Lingayen, and implemented the warrant. However, they discovered Cacapit in possession of forty small heat-sealed transparent sachets containing suspected shabu, nine different sizes of paper wrapped with tape containing suspected shabu, all of which weighed 39 grams with P265,000 value in the streets.

Police also recovered a revolver with six live ammunitions, and an improvised tooter with suspected shabu residue.
