Construction worker stabbed by co-worker
A 34-year-old construction worker was stabbed by his co-worker in Barangay Polong Sur, Malasiqui town, on Saturday night, September 3.
Victim Alvin Manangan, was stabbed by suspect Jun Paul Verano, 25, a native of Negros Oriental but currently residing in Barangay Malimpec in Malasiqui town.
According to police investigation, the victim was walking along with other co-workers towards their barracks when Verano attacked Manangan, stabbing the latter in his left hand. The motive was about an old grudge.
Verano was arrested by authorities while Manangan is on the road to recovery. (Ahikam Pasion)
