Man stabbed over false accusation
A 25-year-old man was stabbed after an altercation, that stemmed from false accusations in Barangay Pangapisan North in Lingayen on Tuesday night, July 12.
Victim Edison Gonzales, was hanging around with his child along the dike when suddenly, suspect Wally Sendaydiego, 56, also resident of same area, approached the two.
Sendaydiego confronted Gonzales, and falsely accused him. He then kicked the victim’s child, resulting in a heated argument.
The suspect then challenged the victim to a fist fight but the former grabbed a nine-inch balisong instead and stabbed Gonzales on his left chest.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, while Sendaydiego voluntarily surrendered to local barangay authorities.
Investigation on the incident is ongoing. (Ahikam Pasion)
