Ex-kagawad killed by hitman
A former kagawad was shot dead early morning Friday, July 15.
The victim was identified as Raymundo Tuliao, 67, a former barangay kagawad, and a resident of Barangay Ambonao Centro, Calasiao.
P/Lt. Col. Junmar Gonzales, officer-in-charge at the Calasiao Municipal Police Station, said Tuliao was with his live-in partner onboard a tricycle, when a still unidentified lone gunman riding a motorcycle followed them.
When the gunman eventually caught up with the duo, he shot Tuliao initially at the back, then on the head.
Gonzales said police are still conducting an investigation to identify the gunman and determine the motive behind the shooting. (Ahikam Pasion)
