THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Pangasinan arrested another high-value target (HVT) in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, August 31, in Barangay Nalsian, Calasiao.

Rechie Camacho, PDEA-Pangasinan assistant provincial director, said Christian Centino, 18, and Christopher Gabito, 25, both residents in the barangay were arrested after they sold one sachet of suspected shabu to a PDEA undercover agent.

PDEA’s main target was Nader Musor, a high value target, but he sent his two runners to do the transaction instead.

Musor was arrested on April 26, 2021 after a search warrant was implemented in his house that yielded shabu. He, however, was out on bail, and continued peddling.

The buy-bust operation resulted in the confiscation of one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing 50 grams, worth P340,000, and the recovery of the P1,000 marked money, and 199 pieces of boodle money. Authorities also seized one cellphone, and the motorcycle used by the duo.

Centino admitted to running and delivering drugs for Musor, in exchange for P500 per transaction.

Gabito, however, adamantly told that he was just with Centino, and that he did not know that Centino was in the middle of a drug transaction.

The duo has been charged for violating RA 9165. (Ahikam Pasion)
