A FORMER member of the Philippine National Police was arrested in a drug operation after  28 sachets of shabu were found and seized in his residence in Barangau Duera, Bayambang on September 16.

Nabbed by virtue of a search warrant was Jasper Joy Mabulay, 30, a high-value target  listed in drug watch.

Joint police and anti-narcotics operatives seized from him two pouches that contained 28 sachets of shabu weighing 30 grams.

Lawmen estimated it to be worth around P272, 000 in the streets.

P/Major Arturo Melchor Jr, police provincial office spokesperson, said Mabulay was formerly assigned in the National Capital Region.

He was dismissed from service. (Eva Visperas)
