Two nabbed in Dagupan shabu buy-bust
TWO high value targets in Dagupan City were arrested following a buy-bust operation by the Pangasinan Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) Friday afternoon, June 4.
The primary target, Acmad Abdullah Macabato, 39, resident of Nueva Nueva in Barangay 2, and Noriel Lachica, 30, a resident of Barangay Pantal, were caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tapuac.
Undercover agents transacted the purchase of one sachet of suspected shabu weighing 5 grams for the operation from Macabato.
Another bulk sachet was confiscated from Macabato, hidden in his underwear, while a pack of cigarettes containing 40 sachets of shabu in different sizes were taken from Lahica’s custody.
Overall, the confiscated shabu weighed 15 grams, with estimated P102,000 value in the streets.
Meanwhile, at around the same time, Idio Mangosong, alias Jupiter, 42, a resident of San Vicente West in Asingan town, was also arrested following an operation also launched by the PDEU.
Mangosong is a Street Level Individual (SLI) engaged in illegal drugs peddling.
The operation is part of the ongoing Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office. (Ahikam Pasion)
