Rosales SK chairman arrested for drugs
2ND MOST WANTED PERSON
THE chairman of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Rosales, who is supposed to be the role model of the youth in his town, was arrested by joint police elements for his involvement in illegal drugs.
P/Major Arturo Melchor Jr., spokesman of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, said the SK official, Prince Cyrus Ollero, 21, a resident of Barangay Carmen West, is not only suspected to drug trading but is tagged as the second Most Wanted Person in Rosales town.
Ollero was arrested based on the warrant of arrest issued on May 27, 2991 by Branch 53 of the Regional Trial Court in Rosales.
Joint elements of the Rosales Police, Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Officer and the 2nd Provincial Police Mobile Force Company based in Tayug served the warrant of arrest at the residence of the suspect.
No bail was recommended for him in the case of illegal drugs dealing while a bail of P200,000 was set for his case of possession of illegal drugs.
P/Major Melchor said the arrest of Ollero was the result of intensified efforts of the provincial police have to serve arrest warrants issued by the courts on order of P/Colonel Ronald Gayo, police provincial director. (Leonardo Micua)
