Boy drowns trying to save cousin
A 13-year-old boy who tried to save his cousin from drowning died in Barangay Bolaney, Alaminos City on June 3.
Michael Angelo Espejo was with his cousins Christine Catabay, 10 and Kimberly Espejo, 12, all residents of the place, went to an excavated water impounding station to play under the rain and swim.
While playing, Espejo saw Catabay drowning and he tried to save her. He drowned after securing his cousin. He was rushed to Western Pangasinan District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. (Eva Visperas)
