Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa OFW held in Binmaley

THE Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) recently launched its Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa OFW Project in Binmaley town for 25 displaced overseas Filipino workers.

A component of Abig Pangasinan program of the Gov. Amado Espino III, the program is a special livelihood and training project for qualified displaced overseas workers affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, in recognition of the OFW sector to the economy.

Binmaley PESO Manager Catalina R. Flores said beneficiaries were selected based on the following criteria: 1) Cause of repatriation, 2) Number of months or years the OFW worked abroad, 3) Economic situation of the displaced OFW.

Binmaley Municipal Administrator Diomedes Bonalos who represented Binmaley Mayor Simplicio Rosario, thanked the provincial government for bringing the program to the town.

At the ceremonial awarding were PESO Labor & Employment Officer Richelle Raguindin, Edward Operania, Binmaley OFW Family Association President, Binmaley OFWs returnees and some provincial staff.

The Tulong Pangkabuhayan sa OFW will be held in all component cities and municipalities (PIO/CINV)
