A 36-year-old woman is still under observation at the hospital after being stabbed several times by her lover in a hotel room in Barangay Bonuan Boquig, Dagupan City.

Investigation reveals the victim, “Yoly”, not her real name, married, and a resident of Calasiao town, checked-in with suspect Jesus Arellano, 41, single, a resident of Barangay Bonuan Gueset, this city.

During their stay, Yoly reportedly wanted to end their relationship. When Arellano refused, it resulted in an emotional, heated argument that caused Arellano to pick up an ice pick, and stabbed her in different parts of her body.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital. Arellano was arrested and is detained while awaiting for charges to be filed. (Ahikam Pasion)
