PHO holds workshop for COVID-19 vaccinators

THE Provincial Health Office (PHO) recently conducted a two-day orientation workshop for COVID-19 Demand Generation and Vaccinators at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center II.

The orientation was designed to give stakeholders and health personnel accurate knowledge and information about the vaccine for COVID-19 virus and the expected toll out next month.

According to Dr. Susan Rita Merino, OIC-Provincial Health Officer I for Public Health Services, the participants developed a micro plan for COVID-19 Demand Generation and Vaccinators after identifying the issues and concerns of the vaccination program.

In attendance were RHU and municipal staff from Alaminos, Agno, Bolinao, Burgos, Balungao, Dasol, Infanta, Mabini, Sual, San Quintin, Sta. Maria, Rosales, Tayug, Natividad and nurses staff from Bayambang Interlocal Health Zone, Pangasinan Provincial Hospital Interlocal Health Zone and the 14-government run hospitals in the province.

Among the topics discussed were:  Pre-Survey and Post Survey result for COVID-19 vaccine program, Overview on the Provincial Deployment and Vaccination Plan, Profiling and Data Management, Demand Generation, COVID-19 Vaccine Administration, Microplanning/Contigency Plan, Formulation and Presentation of Activity Plan, Synthesis and Next Steps.
