San Carlos CHO’s new laboratory ready to serve
THE San Carlos City government recently inaugurated the new City Health Office’s laboratory that will deliver basic laboratory services to city residents and from neighboring towns.
The new laboratory, under the level 2 category, provides blood count (CBC), urinalysis, stool test, systolic blood pressure and can facilitate advanced laboratory tests like creatinine test, fasting blood sugar (FBS) test and lipid profiling.
The city government is also preparing the laboratory to be able to conduct water analysis, drug testing and rapid testing.
The laboratory’s services will be free to beneficiaries under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4P’s and members of Philippine Health Corporation. (Jerick Pasiliao)
