Registration of business name is now online – DTI
TO encourage business owners to register their business names and ensure their safety during this pandemic, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) made the registration of business names easy – via online.
DTI Provincial Director Natalia Dalaten said business owners may register their business names using the BNRS link https://bnrs.dti.gov.ph/ and pay the registration fee using online platforms like GCash, Paymaya, debit and credit cards.”
She said online applications for business names as well as online payment is available anytime.
Or business owners may also opt to register their business name at the nearest Negosyo Center in their area.
DTI has 21 existing Negosyo Centers in Pangasinan which are situated near the municipal or city hall in Alaminos City, Anda, Boliano, Lingayen, Bugallon, Mangatarem, Calasiao, San Carlos City, Bayambang, CB Mall Urdaneta City, Rosales, Tayug, Umingan, San Quintin, San Nicolas, Mangaldan, Laoac, Binalonan, San Fabian, Sta. Barbara and Dagupan City.
Dalaten said a registered business name is needed as basis for printing of official receipts or sales invoice and a business name registration is one of the requirements for securing business permits from the local government unit and not a license to engage in any kind of business and is only valid at the scope indicated herein.
