THE series of successful drug operations and campaign against crime of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office, earned for the latter the citation as top performing provincial unit in the region.

Based on the operational accomplishment released by the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office led by P/Colonel Ronald Gayo, provincial director, 61 drug suspects were arrested from sixty operations that resulted in the recovery of 13.5 grams of shabu and 1,104.5 grams of marijuana.

The campaign vs illegal gambling netted fifty-nine suspects.

The Pangasinan PNP hauled 107 persons wanted for various crimes to prisons, thirteen of whom are most wanted persons that resulted in the seizure of unlicensed firearms.

Gayo, commended the police personnel in Pangasinan, whom he described as “masisipag at magagaling naman lahat ng mga nadatnan natin pulis sa Pangasinan,” (Nora Dominguez)
