Two medical frontliners in Alcala test positive
TWO medical frontliners, man and woman, in Alcala town tested positive for COVID-19.
The two patients, both 27 years old and residents of Barangay Poblacion East and Barangay San Juan. They were working in the same hospital outside town.
It is believed the patients caught the virus while tending to another COVID-19 patient.
They are currently placed in an isolation facility in the town, while their close contacts were swabbed and placed on strict home quarantine protocol.
In response to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in town, the town’s government unit announced a ban on public and private gatherings. (Ahikam Pasion)
