Dagupan hosts Capitol’s Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan

THE provincial government’s Pamanang Yaman, Produktong Pangasinan (PYPP) was in Dagupan City December 17-18 to promote products of local entrepreneurs in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The PYPP is a component of the Abig Pangasinan Recovery Program of the Provincial Government to help stimulate recovery of local economy.

The program showcases locally-made woven products, bagoong products, chips, puto, longganisa, dried seafoods, frozen goods, pastillas, vinegar, processed fish, rice and duhat wine.

The PYPP rolling store already visited 17 towns and already netted more than P2-million in sales.

The products sold in the PYPP were bought by the provincial government from the MSMEs and are sold to Pangasinenses at cost.

Dagupan City Chief of Staff Michael Camilo Datario who represented Dagupan City Mayor Marc Brian C. Lim thanked the provincial government for bringing the program in the city.

Provincial Population Cooperative, and Livelihood Development Officer (PPCLDO) Ellsworth G. Gonzales said Gov. Amado Espino III wants to help local businessmen to recover their losses as a result of the series of quarantine and lockdown protocols.
