Woman refuses to reconcile, gets beaten by ex-lover
A 20-year-old woman in Sual was beaten by her ex-boyfriend after she refused to reconcile with him.
Police investigation reveals the suspect, Gerald Molina, 32 years old, wanted to reconcile with ex-girlfriend Mavel Macatiag, resident of said place, and plead to her to give him another chance to make their relationship to work.
When, Macatiag refused, Molina became enraged and punched her in the gut, causing her to pass out.
As soon as she recovered, she rushed to the police station and reported the incident. Molina was arrested, and is facing charges in regards to Violence Against Women and Children. (Ahikam Pasion)
