COVID-19 in Dagupan: 257 cases, 108 active cases, 109 recovered, 10 deaths
AS of October 1, the city of Dagupan still has the highest number of active COVID-19 case in Pangasinan after it breached the 100 mark.
The city’s active cases already number 108, out of which 12 new cases were registered on October 1 while 109 cases recovered and 10 persons died.
Recorded total cases is 257.
Among Dagupan’s 31 barangays, Bonuan Gueset has the biggest number of COVID-19 cases at 26, followed by Pantal (16,) Bonuan Boquig (6), Bolosan (5) Lucao and Tapuac (4 each), Poblacion Oeste (3) and Calmay (3).
A report stated that the latest fatality from Dagupan was a woman from Barangay Calmay who died of heart failure but before she died she was found positive for COVID-19. As they were holding a wake for her, the confirmation of the woman’s swab test came and it showed she, indeed, tested positive for COVID-19. (Leonardo Micua)
