THE Bayambang government has commended two new sources of pride for the town in Monday’s flag raising ceremony held at the Balon Bayambang Events Center.

A source of pride is lawyer Isabela Rose Jane Junio, daughter of Councilor Mylvin Junio, presently working at the World Bank in America holding the position as Legal Vice Presidency Institutional Administration Unit.

Another is Dr. Jose De Vera Camacho Jr. who was chosen as the 10th Chancellor of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños. Camacho is the younger brother of municipal council Secretary Joel Camacho.

They were given plaques of commendation for the honor they have brought to the town.

Meanwhile, the municipal council also lauded the local police force and the town police chief for being ranked one in Pangasinan.

P/Lt. Col. Norman Florentino was cited leading in the Chief of Police Performance Evaluation Rating by the PNP-Regional Office 1.

The Bayambang Municipal Police Station was also commended for being ranked No. 1 in peace and order in the province.

They received separate plaques and P15,000 cash each from Mayor Cezar Quiambao. (PhilStar Wire Service/ECV)
