Wanted for murder: 4 suspects in Espino ambush

WARRANTS of arrest have been issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Magnolia Cayetano of Branch 56 in San Carlos City against the 24 suspects in the attempted murder of former Rep. Amado Espino Jr. and the murder of his driver and police escort.

Of the 24 suspects, four were issued warrants of arrest for murder, frustrated murder and attempted murder.

Issued warrants of arrest with offered bounty on charges of murder, frustrated murder and attempted murder are Benjie Resultan y Latonio, Armando Mangrobang Frias Jr alias Jong Frias, Alvin Palisoc alias Alvin Pascaran, Mark Anthony Palisoc, Claudio Gabriel with a bounty of P200,000 each and an alias Cel with the same case and a reward money of P100,000.

According to Pangasinan police director Redrico Maranan, the court did not recommend bail for the suspects who are still at large and in–hiding.

It will be recalled that on September 11 last year, Esino was ambushed by the armed suspects at an intersection in San Carlos City that resulted in the death of his driver Agapito Cuison and P/Staff Sergeant Richard Esguerra, a detailed police security. (Nora Dominguez)
