Two frontliners from Dagupan test positive for COVID-19

TWO new active COVID-19 cases among frontliners were registered in Dagupan City.

Dr. Ophelia Rivera, city health officer, said the two frontliners tested positive on Monday, September 1, making the city account for nine active cases.

The two are a 49-year-old female from Barangay Poblacion Oeste, and a 30-year-old male from Barangay Pantal. Both are asymptomatic.

The female, an employee of a government facility, tested positive in her RT-PCR test on August 29 at the Lingayen District Hospital.

The male, from Tagudin, Ilocos Sur who listed his city address and current residence in Barangay Pantal in the city, initially tested negative on August 13.

He was on duty at a hospital in Metro Manila until August 28, and eventually tested positive in his RT-PCR. He is currently confined in an isolation facility in NCR. (Ahikam Pasion)
