22 towns still COVID-19-free, 26 infected
THERE are still 22 or 46 percent of the 48 towns and cities of Pangasinan that are COVID-19-free while 26 remain infected.
This was gleaned from the COVID-19 tracker released by the Provincial Information Office on September 8.
The COVID-19 free towns are Aguilar, Alcala, Anda, Balungao, Bani, Bugallon, Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Labrador, Mabini, Manaoag, Mapandan, Rosales, San Quintin, Sison, Sta. Maria, Sto. Tomas, Tayug, Umingan, Urbiztondo and Villasis.
Dasol remains as the only town in Pangasinan that has not registered any COVID-19 case since March 16.
The infected towns are Mangaldan (7), Bayambang (6) and Sta. Barbara (6), San Carlos (4), San Nicolas (3), Malasiqui (3), Calasiao (2), Urdanetaq City (2) and Agno, Alaminos City, Asingan, Basista, Bautista, Binalonan, Binmaley, Bolinao, Laoac, Lingayen, Mangatarem, Natividad, Pozorrubio, San Fabian, San Jacinto and San Manuel (1) each.
Only Dagupan City (13) and Sual (12) registered double-digit figures. (Leonardo Micua)
