TWO teachers and three others were arrested for illegal cockfighting on Sept. 13 in Barangay Songkoy, Calasiao.

P/Lt. Col. Ferdinand de Asis, town police chief, said Apolinario Rosario, 53; Joeffrey Ordona, 46; Allan Reyes, 31; Roberto Aquino, 61 and Abraham Ferrer, 50, all from San Carlos City were arrested participating in an illegal cockfighting.

Both Rosario and Ordona are teachers.

Confiscated from the place of gambling were two live fighting cocks and one dead, two blades and P306 bet money.
