PDEA nabs HVT targets in buy-bust
THREE persons from Aguilar and Sta. Barbara were arrested following a buy-bust operation by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Aug. 19.
Retchie Camacho, PDEA provincial assistant provincial officer and team leader, said the arrested suspects, Lamberto Versoza aka ‘Jing’, his live-in partner Donna Torio, and Edwin Bruan, are considered High Value Targets (HVT).
The suspects have been renting a room in an inn in Barangay Ambonao in Calasiao for almost a month.
He said Versoza and Torio came from Aguilar and moved to Calasiao believing it was safer to operate in the town.
The PDEA operatives seized two packs of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 50 grams estimated to be worth P340,000 sourced from Metro Manila.
Recovered from the suspects were the bundle of boodle money and two units of cellphones used by the suspects in their illegal transactions.
The suspects are known to operate in the Second and Third Districts of Pangasinan. (Ahikam Pasion)
