Two arrested in 4th drug buy-bust in Dagupan
A man and woman working in tandem in illegal drug trade fell in another drug buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Dagupan City Police in the afternoon of June 22 along Galvan Street in Barangay II and III.
The suspects were identified as John Rey Palaganas, 31, and Maylyn Corbilla, 49, both residents of Pantal District in Dagupan City.
Four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu valued at P3,000 were seized from the suspects.
The undercover operative paid the duo five pieces of P100-bill marked money.
The arrested suspects were charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.
It was the fourth buy-bust operation conducted by lawmen in Dagupan over a three-week period: the first in Bonuan Gueset, the second in Bonuan Boquig and the third in Caranglaaan. (Leonardo Micua)
