PDEA nabs HVT in Rosales
A high value target was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Rosales town during a drug buy-bust operation last May 29, Friday afternoon.
The suspect, Marvin Placido, was arrested in Barangay Carmen East, this town.
Retchie Camacho, PDEA team leader, said the operatives recovered 11 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu that weighed 55 grams worth P374, 000.
Among the recovered were three bundles of P1,000 boodle money used in the operation, one mobile phone, one Mitsubishi L300, which Placido uses in his illegal operation.
“The suspect (Placido) has been operating in the entire province, and one of the suppliers in Pangasinan”, said Camacho.
Placido, who has been under surveillance for almost two years now, will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Drugs Act .
The suspect is currently under PDEA custody. (Ahikam Pasion)
