Man kills family, self
A family man suspected to have been affected by the quarantine killed his members of his family before killing himself in their house in Barangay Banuar in Laoac town with the same chopping knife he used to kill his victims.
P/Captain Mark Taminaya, Laoac police chief said Nestor Untalan killed his mother Rema, his wife May, and a bedridden woman named Rosita Tangco early morning today using the same chopping knife he used to kill his victims.
Two neighbors who heard the screaming rushed to the Untalans’ residence but hey too were attacked by the suspect who later slit his own throat.
Fortunately, Untalan’s two children – both minors, were unhurt.
Upon investigation, Taminaya said that Untalan was reportedly sleepless for three nights. His name is not included in their town’s drug watch list. (Ahikam Pasion)
