Prices of major commodities in markets stable

THE prices of major commodities in Pangasinan remain stable amid the COVID-19 crisis.

According to PUNCH sources, prices at the market are: pork at a P200 per kg; P160 per kilo of chicken; P280 per kilo of beef; P160 per kilo of bangus; P90 per kilo of tilapia; P120 per kilo of mussels; P120 per kilo of squid.

There is no movement in prices of vegetables and packets of ingredients.

In spite of controlled prices, vendors of vegetable and fruit vendors in Lingayen market complain of poor sales, they are also complaining due to the poor sales since the declaration of Enhanced Community Quarantine. (Nora Dominguez)
