Additional quarantine facility in Sta. Barbara Half-way House
THE Pangasinan Contractors Association through Engr. Carlito Dion has funded the construction of the Emergency Quarantine Facility, as an extension of the Sta. Barbara Halfway House.
Provincial Engineer Antonieta Delos Santos said the construction of the emergency facility is expected to be completed by this week.
Provincial Health Officer Anna De Guzman said the additional space will serve persons under investigation (PUIs) who tested negative until they complete their 14-day quarantine period, in an earlier interview.
The Emergency Quarantine Facility is a one-story 6×24-meter building that can accommodate sixteen beds.
Delos Santos pointed out that while the estimated P600,000-project is donated by Pangasinan Contractors Association, the ventilation and other equipment will be provided by the provincial government. (PIO/PJS)
