Who will be Limgas na Pangasinan 2020?
THE search for the 2020 Limgas na Pangasinan is on!
The three screening dates are: Western Pangasinan – February 16 (1-5PM) at Buddha Resort in Bugallon; Eastern Pangasinan – February 23 (1-5PM) at Lisland Rainforest, Urdaneta City; and Central Pangasinan – February 29 (1-5PM) at Malong Bldg. Capitol Complex, Lingayen.
The annual selection of Limgas na Pangasinan from among Pangasinan’s beautiful and talented women, is one of the major highlights of Pista’y Dayat (Sea Festival.
The Limgas na Pangasinan titleholder will represent the province in national, and international beauty searches.
Prizes at stake are: Limgas na Pangasinan (Php150,000 cash prize and Php10,000 monthly allowance), Limgas na Turismo (Php100,000 cash prize and Php6,000 monthly allowance), and Limgas na Kalikasan (Php80,000 and Php3,000 monthly allowance). The monthly allowance will be given for 12 months (or until crown successors are named).
A Limgas hopeful must possess the following qualifications: single, good moral character, at least 5’ 5” in height, 18-24 years old (at least junior or high school graduate), and must be of Pangasinan descent.
Following must be submitted during the screening: accomplished application form, 2 (3R) photos (1 full body and one close up), copy of high school or college diploma or certificate of enrolment, photocopy of birth certificate (Philippine Statistics Authority authenticated), barangay clearance, police clearance, cedula; must bring1 cocktail dress, two-piece swimsuit, and at least three-inch heeled shoes, strictly no make-up.
