Fusion 2020 Mega Job Fair set February 7 and 8

A big Business Processing Outsourcing company in Manila is joining the Pangasinan provincial government through the Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) in staging Fusion Mega Job Fair 2020 on Feb. 7- 8 at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center gymnasium.

Fusion 2020 is a joint project of Concentrix, the county’s leader in the BPO industry with five sites and 45 branches across the country and about 90,000 employees.

Larah  Sta, Maria, training officer of Concentrix, said her company is looking for 300 applicants to be hired as call center agents, support technicians, Information Technologists, marketing specialists and human resources officers.

Sta. Maria told the Talakayan sa Kapitolyo on Tuesday, BPO workshop will be held on February 7 as a preparatory orientation for those who want to apply.

She said the minimum requirement for the applicant is at least a high school graduate, 18 years and above, no age limit as long as the applicant is young at heart, and must have good communication skills.

Those who can pass the screening will be hired immediately and could have a starting salary of P20,000 and guaranteed a relocation package to his or her place of work.

Each successful applicant will also get free training with an allowance during the duration of his or her training.     

The nearest Concentrix sites from Pangasinan are Clark and Baguio City. However, the successful applicant may also want to work in Alabang, Quezon City, Makati and other parts of Metro Manila.

Alex Ferrer, provincial employment service officer of Pangasinan, said they are expecting 1,600 applicants from whom 320 will be hired.

He called on all Pangasinenses from 18 years old and above and at least high school graduates to apply because this is once in a lifetime opportunity that simply requires

good communication skills.

Sta. Maria said the BPO industry already employs 1.2 million workers across the years and is continuously growing. (Leonardo Micua)
