ROTC cadet who saved student feted by SP
THE heroism of ROTC cadet who saved the life of a senior high school student who attempted to commit suicide was cited by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) on Tuesday.
In a resolution, the SP members acknowledged the heroic act of Mart Stephen Navarro, LNU student, for saving the life of the 17-year old girl who jumped off from the 5th floor of the university building by catching her before she could hit the pavement.
Navarro who lives with his widowed mother Soledad, is active in youth ministry as an altar boy of the Church Our Lady of Fatima in Barangay Dinaloaoan, Calasiao town. (Leonardo Micua)
