Gov. Espino opens 9th Pangasinan Chess Championship. Governor Amado I. Espino III with Perpetual Altas chess player Jerome Junio made the ceremonial moves to formally open the 9th Pangasinan Chess Championship held on November 16-17 at the Pangasinan Training and Development Center. Junio is one of the several homegrown chess players in Pangasinan who are making waves as board players of chess varsity teams in Manila.
