Pangasinan festival at SM City Rosales

SM City Rosales featured a weeklong presentation of the best of Pangasinan foods, music and dances are featured in a festival, Oct. 14-20.

Dubbed as Pangasinan Food, Music & Art BESTival, the event showcased on Oct. 14 during the media launch the province’s popular local delicacies like the Dagupan bangus, pigar-pigar and kaleskes, Calasiao puto, Binalonan’s and Asingan’s longganisa and kakanin from different towns, among others.

“Let us enjoy the local flavorful cuisine that are uniquely Pangasinense,” Herald Eleria, SM City Rosales mall manager told his guests.

He added, “Let us celebrate Pangasinan festival, our provincial heritage, our fiestas and local festivities, our culture.”

Eleria said SM Supermalls celebrates distinctive festivities that are locally known in each province.

He added it is a recognition of the mall’s endearment of Pangasinan culture.

During the launch, Tayug National High School students presented the Sunflower Festival Dance and Pangasinan Folk Dances.

The guests and other participants then partook the delicacies served via pin-nangan or salo-salo. (PhilStar Wire Service)
