LINGAYEN – The municipal government opened its improved Lingayen Public Library as eLibrary on October 10!

Lingayenenses can avail of research online, assessment for the Alternative Learning System (ALS) exam, and other EduSkills software by TECH4ED for free.

The software provides information needs of all sectors of the society in a convenient, efficient way of delivery through TECH4ED – a program  of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) that aims to harness ICT to bridge the digital divide and alleviate poverty in both urban and rural areas.

A collaborative project of the Municipal Public Library and the Sangguniang Bayan spearheaded by Vice Mayor Judy De Leon Vargas, Lingayen eLibrary is located at the 2nd floor of the town hall.

Meanwhile, donors of old books are still welcome. (Melody Valenton)
