BONUAN’S PRIDE
BONUAN’S PRIDE. Bonuan which is popularly known as the source of Dagupan bangus, is also the birthplace of some native sons who have made good in the United States. Among them is Jeson Retumalta who recently graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University Of San Jose, California.
Jeson is the only child of Sonny Retumalta who works in the US Postal Service, and the former Jean Oandasan, both natives of Bonuan.
He is the grandson of Emilia Retumalta, a retired teacher of the Dagupan City National High School. (In the family photo also is Jeson’s uncle David Retumalta who was adjudged Employee of the Year of the posh Beverly Hills Peninsula Hotel).
