Hundred Islands revisited through a musical play

ALAMINOS CITY – Visitors were always blown away by the undeniable beauty of the famous Hundred Islands National Park. To give visitors more reason to remember and return to the scenic Hundred Islands, the Alaminos City government is lending its support to a cultural group that will perform to celebrate the National Tourism Month.

On September 21, the Tanghalang Sandaang Pulo Cultural Group Inc. will present the mythical story of how Hundred Islands became one of the magical sights in the country.

The play, entitled “Ang Alamat ng Sandaang Pulo” based on collection of tales of Lovely V. Verceles, that features Alyssa B. Contreras, with original musical scoring by the TSP Musikeros ked by Renz Adriel B. Vidanes, and dance choreography by the TSP Dance Troupe headed by Mico G. Molina, and directed by Ben Jan Rusby Natividad. Tickets are now sold for only P120 for General Admission and P250 for VIP for their 1 PM and 7 PM shows to be held the city gymnasium, Children’s Park, in Barangay Poblacion. (Melody Valenton)
