THE provincial board approved a resolution authorizing Governor Amado I. Espino III to execute a deed of donation granting the Philippine National Police (PNP) one rescue truck on its regular session on August 19.

Authored by Sangguniang Panlalawigan members Noel C. Bince and Jose G. Peralta, Jr., the resolution specified that the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) will use the vehicle for emergency situations, disasters and calamities, and in its daily operations.

The one unit 6×6 rescue truck is presently under the custody of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

PDRRMO chief Rhodyn Luchinvar Oro said it helps the the provincial government if its partners like the PNP are capacitated during disasters (PIO/SMDG)
