Basketball, volleyball finals set August 30
3rd INTER-LGU UNITY GAMES
THE best-of-three championship series between San Carlos City and Bugallon in basketball and Bayambang versus Labrador in volleyball have been moved to August 30 to be played at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center in Lingayen.
This was announced by
Pangasinan Sports Development and Management Council’s Deputy Executive Officer
Marlon Domalanta.
“After the grueling Group A and Group
B finals both in basketball and volleyball that ended on August 16, we are
giving the teams longer period to rest, recharge and practice in preparation
for the important championship series,” said Domalanta.
Basketball hostilities
between Bayambang and Urbiztondo for the battle for third place via knockout
game starts at 9:00 a.m. before the San Carlos-Bugallon first tussle scheduled
at 10:00 a.m.
The volleyball skirmishes start at 1:00 p.m. for
the winner-take-all encounter between Burgos and Sta. Barbara while the first
Bayambang-Labrador clash will be played at 2:30 p.m. (JAG, Jr.)
