UNKNOWN to many, the voice of an eight-year-old girl behind twin panda characters (Peggi and Pandora) in the popular British pre-school animated series Peppa Pig is from Alaminos City.

Chelsy, who studies in a private school in London said she wants to be the young ambassadress to promote Hundred Islands. She made her debut in her role as a voice actress when the episode started airing in February.

She visited the HINP again last week during her family vacation to do some recordings that will be shown in her famous vlog Little Lady C to entice more tourists.

They filmed a few shots in Hundred Islands which Chelsy will use in her vlog Little Lady C in the YouTube channel that already has more than 5,000 subscribers.

In her recent visit, her mother said Chelsy enjoyed her tour at the Hundred Islands and tried the island-to-island zipline, her first time to ride a zipline. “She just loved it,” she added.

In trying to promote Hundred Islands, Chelsy said she would tell her followers that it’s a really fun place, and that’s a good place to go if they like nature.

Chelsy said she is proud her parents are from Pangasinan.

Chelsy’s stint in the animated series Peppa Pig which, has more than 8.7 million subscribers worldwide, is the first role that she had landed through a talent agency. She was chosen from among a thousand who auditioned to be part of the show.

She has also done some photo shoots for a commercial as being part of the talent agency but Peppa pig is her major role so far, Karen said. (PhilStar Wire Service)
