AGUILAR – The town’s police station, led by P/Captain Rommel DL. Sembrano, has began reaching out to school children in the campaign against illegal drugs.   

In support of the Regional Police Office against criminality and illegal drugs, grade six pupils of Manlocboc Elementary School here were introduced to Project R.E.A.D.Y. (Resistance Education Against Drug for the Youth) last  July 15.

P/Master Sergeant Digna T. Malicdem, conducted a lecture on ways in overcome peer pressure, how and when to say “NO” to drugs “because it is their right.”

At the end of the discussion, pencils were distributed which served as tokens from the police officers to the pupils. (Melody Valenton)
