Public schools in San Carlos are ISO certified

SAN CARLOS CITY— All the 75 public schools, both elementary and high school, under the San Carlos City Schools Division, already earned ISO certification.

Schools Division Supt.t Sheila Marie Primicias said the ISO certification is a feat, possibly a first in the country.

The schools were clustered into 8 groups on Jan. 11 and underwent orientation and awareness on ISO Certification, from documentation system for the quality management system, training on risk management and practice of good housekeeping, training on internal quality audit, final audit for ISO 9001:2015, alignment, pre-assessment- training on quality service, external assessment Stage 1 for quality assurance of school operational practices and external assessment Stage 2 for external audit.

Implementing Unit is composed of national high schools in Abanon, Pangalangan, SEPNAS, Tandoc and Turac.

Non-Implementing Unit is made up of national high schools in Bacnar, Libas, Malacañang, Mabalbalino, Salinap, Tamayo, Bolingit, Cobol, Coliling, Doyong and Lilimasan.  (PhilStar Wire Service)
